The 狮子s are looking to build upon a historic season a year ago, posting the first winning record in the Division I era, 9-7-3, and a second-place finish in the Southland Conference.

“I’m excited about the schedule this upcoming year. We have a challenging non-conference schedule that will help prepare us for conference play,戈登说。, who is entering her third season as the 狮子 skipper.

Prior to beginning the regular season, the 狮子s play an exhibition match 在小石城 on 8月ust 8.

The regular season kicks off on 8月ust 15 against Oral Roberts, marking the second consecutive season that the 狮子s are starting the season at home against the Golden Eagles. This is the third straight year that the two teams are facing off.

The 狮子s then head west to UTEP on 8月ust 22, a rematch of last season’s 3-2 win for the 狮子s in 商务 and the road trip closes out against New Mexico State on 8月ust 24, the first ever meeting between the two teams.

A two-match home stand on Labor Day Weekend follows. The 狮子s play North Texas on 8月ust 30 and Tarleton on 9月ember 1. It is the first time that A&M-商务 is hosting either team in 商务. The 狮子s then play 在塔尔萨 on 9月ember 5, after beating the Golden Hurricanes, 2-0, in 商务 last season, which was the 狮子s’ first non-conference win in Division I era.

9月8日, the 狮子s play Texas State at home for the first time ever and then head on the road for two-consecutive games to close out non-conference play. Gordon added, “the addition of two new members is exciting for the conference. We are looking forward to our trip down to UTRGV this year and welcoming SFA.”

The 狮子s’ conference schedule was released earlier this week. A&M-商务 faces UTRGV on the road to begin SLC play on 9月ember 22, followed by a three-match home stand against Stephen F. Austin, Southeastern, and A&M-科珀斯克里斯蒂 on 9月ember 27, 29, and 10月ober 4, respectively.
